These Terms govern your use of Veil (the "App"). By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
You must be at least 13 years old to use the App, and you must meet the minimum age required by your app store (the App is rated 17+). By using the App you confirm that you meet these requirements.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms.
You are solely responsible for the content you post, send, or share. You retain ownership of your content, and you grant Veil a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and distribute it solely to operate and provide the App.
You agree not to post, send, or share content that is, and not to engage in behavior that is: hateful, harassing, threatening, violent, sexually explicit involving minors (which is strictly prohibited and reported to authorities), illegal, defamatory, invasive of privacy (including doxxing), spam, fraudulent, impersonating, or otherwise objectionable. Abusive users are not welcome.
The App provides tools to report content and block users. We use a combination of automated and human moderation. We review reports and will remove violating content and eject abusive users within 24 hours. We may remove content, hide content, suspend, or permanently ban users at our discretion, with or without notice.
You agree not to attempt to bypass moderation, abuse the reporting system, access the App or its data without authorization, scrape or harvest data, or interfere with the App's operation.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Veil and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for content posted by users.
You agree to indemnify and hold Veil harmless from claims arising out of your content or your use of the App.
We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for any reason, including violation of these Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
We may update these Terms; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
