Terms of Use & End User License Agreement

These Terms govern your use of Veil (the "App"). By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the App, and you must meet the minimum age required by your app store (the App is rated 17+). By using the App you confirm that you meet these requirements.

2. License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms.

3. Your content

You are solely responsible for the content you post, send, or share. You retain ownership of your content, and you grant Veil a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and distribute it solely to operate and provide the App.

4. Zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users

There is zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behavior on Veil.

You agree not to post, send, or share content that is, and not to engage in behavior that is: hateful, harassing, threatening, violent, sexually explicit involving minors (which is strictly prohibited and reported to authorities), illegal, defamatory, invasive of privacy (including doxxing), spam, fraudulent, impersonating, or otherwise objectionable. Abusive users are not welcome.

5. Moderation, reporting, and enforcement

The App provides tools to report content and block users. We use a combination of automated and human moderation. We review reports and will remove violating content and eject abusive users within 24 hours. We may remove content, hide content, suspend, or permanently ban users at our discretion, with or without notice.

6. Prohibited conduct

You agree not to attempt to bypass moderation, abuse the reporting system, access the App or its data without authorization, scrape or harvest data, or interfere with the App's operation.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Veil and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for content posted by users.

9. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold Veil harmless from claims arising out of your content or your use of the App.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for any reason, including violation of these Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
